Why do the majority of people starting out in network marketing fail
By Dennis Brooks
Basically there are 3 reasons why people starting out in network marketing fail to make any money at it. The programs that are designed to make you money need to be approached in the right way for you to make money from them. You need to be taught how to use them properly for them to work. The main reasons are: 1. They simply believe the BS spouted by some marketers where they advertise on their websites that all you need to do is sign up to their program and the money will come in, even if you do nothing. That will never work, if it was that good why do they need to advertise for new members. 2. They work their heart out trying to promote their programs but they fail to focus on any one business, they start with one, an ad appears in their in-box and they think that looks like a good idea, I'll promote that. With that approach they fail to give the first program a chance to work before they start on something new. 3.Where they start a program and start to make a little bit of income from it, but, they work hard to build that business over a long period of time. The income stays reasonably static, then for no apparent reason the business folds. They then lose all their income and would need to start all over again. You need to build multiple streams of income so that if one stream folds you don't lose everything. The answer to these problems is relatively simple. What you need to do is learn how to market your program effectively. If you simply send out emails to strangers your response rates will be extremely low. You need to put content out onto the internet so that potential clients will know you and what you stand for. This content needs to have value by giving them information that answers questions that they may have. To do this effectively you need to learn how to create effective content. In the early days you need to focus on one subject at a time, learn how to produce good content within that subject that will help your client to get to know you. It doesn't matter whether you use: Blogs, static websites, articles, video marketing or social marketing. You need to become competent at using one subject at a time, when you are competent with one, then move onto the next. |
